The product is a novel biocide containing the active ingredient N-butyl-1,2-
benzisothiazolin-3-one (BBIT). DENSIL™ DN Antimicrobial has a broad
spectrum of activity against fungi, algae, yeast and bacteria. DENSIL™ DN
Antimicrobial can be used in many different application areas to offer dry
film and wet state preservation.

Antimicrobial Properties
The efficacy of the product was evaluated by the calculation of
Minimum Inhibitory Concentrations (MICs) [Table 1]. Minimum Inhibitory
Concentrations (MICs) do not represent effective use levels but do indicate
the intrinsic broad spectrum of antimicrobials.
